The winter wheat is basically finished flowering in ideal conditions, disease pressure is extremely low for the first time this year, the T3, (ear wash) will be very low cost this year, in fact unless we get a good amount of rain I don't see any reason to spend anymore money on it.

Been advised to put half a litre of Teb on next week but I'm thinking it's had enough spent

Teb is cheap and great on rust, I have some in stock and if we get any rain I will put it on.

Chickened out and sprayed the wheat with a T3 of Teb & Azoxy plus Epsom salts.

It is a friend's ground after WOSR, he counted 80 slugs under another trap and guessed there were well north of 100 under that one.

Luckily blackgrass isn't an issue here (yet). Plenty of other weeds though. Yes there's wet spots about showing yellow.

Actually that's a good bit. Sprayed off a lot of those BG patches but it's not showing yet. On the up side, it's grown so fast this is the first and only fungicide, boots are split on 95% of it

First drilling of the season

Not going to get much further

80mm of rain in 8 days on sloping sand is no good. Never not been able to drill this in autumn

Drilled during a brief dry spell in Nov, there was barely anything emerged in the New Year

One gold plated pre-em spray and one cheap fungicide, there's a handful of wild oats but otherwise I'm amazed how it came on with only an inch of rain last month. Lost some to waterlogging and looks like the camera is fogged up too
