Winter wheat

Was giving the winter wheat it's 2nd and final spray, not at far along as yours, but the dry banks are very similar.
I took the photos in the best field as I was starting there and the light was failing, but big areas are nearly dead.

Wow, that's kind land  Try to lift that rig on 18.4's here and the tractor would go down and the drill stay on the ground:ROFLMAO:

I do miss growing some barley loved seeing the rows come up almost perfect like these.
Sounds like the next couple of weeks are not too bad for later wheat going in.

Has lots of wheat gone in?

Just trying to guess the straw market, last spring I filled the shed with straw and it looks like I’m near going to last till February,I’m not looking forwards to buying some more in.

Plenty drilled I think. It's the rainfall from now on that will be the factor. Hellish wet in West Wales, need some dry weather badly ( dry next week ?? ) otherwise it'll be like last year with drowned out crops ripped up and planted with spring crops. It's been far drier in Englandshire though ?
