Oats hates being rolled late, I wouldn't.

Winter Oats is loving the weather, getting a great colour.

It is unbelievable good ground for Oats, last time I had Oats in that field it did well north of 4 ton an acre, never grew anything like it before or since. The quality of land, my Mother's home farm, is worth at least a ton an acre over my home farm.

Spraying winter oats with shortener, fungicide and trace elements.
A few too many bad patches, but very good in general.

The winter oats is looking great, I think I should have used a SU with the Galaxy, the fumitory is too plentiful and healthy and some poppies are thinking very hard about dying.

Started cutting the winter oats, no idea of yield yet but weighing well.

A bit more straw in the sample than I would like, but after the drought it is very hard to get any cleaner and the kph, (bushel) is running around 58 which is well above minimum spec so we will keep going.

Ours shouldn't be ready till the end of July, but the drought blasted it in, the extra few weeks should stand to yours.

The big field of Oats is not fit, went into the 4acres instead, may leave "the big bog" to ripen for a few days. Hopefully it is a good sign.

On to a different farm with a different combine but still at winter oats, hopefully will be finished this evening except for the big bog that isn't fit.

Into the last field of winter oats, looking ok and still busheling well so hopefully will be good, I will need all the good news I can get before I start Into the spring barley.
