Sorry I have been AWOL. Things went a bit sideways. I am still alive and kicking though. Nailed down the livestock, battened down the hatches, found an elderly candle..
I have a feeling next doors barn, which has been flapping in the breeze for a couple of years, may make an appearance on my place...
I have red wine, stollen and brandy butter, so should be good!

Threaded rod had some pain on but it didn't strip the threads
Doesn't look to be worn much but multiplied over the length of the boom
Had this nearly 18 months and I'm really impressed. It's not a Milwaukee but it does what I want and it wasn't Milwaukee price either

Yeah. Not sure what lb.ft it does. I think it alters the speed and therefore the hammer effect. No2 was plenty for undoing the slurry store panel bolts a while back. No1 is really quite soft but good for nut running. Needed it on No3 to pull those bushes out and the nut was getting quite warm

I've got a similar but mine might be the brushless high torque one, works well but occasionally the trigger plays up and it won't do anything, it will have to go back (3 year warranty) I've got a few Ryobi tools (look out for special offers on their website) it's the only one that's given any troubleYeah. This definitely has brushes. It was a headtorch job this aft with no leccy and I could see the sparks.
I squashed mine putting the loader boom down on it (the pics will be on here somewhere) I got a new case, £17, but glued/ fashioned a steel reinforcement on the reverse switch lever as they are £45 for the whole switch.
Got a new battery under warranty as it wouldn't charge and I now have a grease gun, leaf blower and long reach hedge trimmer. I think they're called CBS power tools on eBay, they have offers labelled "damaged box" which aren't damaged at all
