They’ll be going to silage that soonish presumably; plenty of vetch and some… weeds🤣
Can’t leave that surely? It’ll lodge, rot and kill out whatever’s underneath.

Ah, sorry- thought it was a looking-over-the-hedge type pic.
I don’t know about NUM3 (plenty of SAM3 here).
What are you allowed to do with it in terms of cutting or grazing it?
If you’ve just got to leave it alone, it’s going to get ‘interesting’ after 3 years …

Back in December, looking at a very soggy field full of blackgrass and wondering how to get spring barley drilled, the eventual destruction of said fallow wasn't really in my thoughts.

You can cut at certain times of the year, weeds and to stop bg dropping seed. I would imagine spray, disc and plough to get rid
