It made me smile

Just messing about on google maps, thought I'd check whether I still appeared on street view, I've been archived, but still there. APRIL 2009. From memory tbat was a 35 acre field, 34 inch drills, deffo no gps steering, all done driving twards something that was hopefully inanimate.

It seems to be the way with all of these very clever Director/CEO types in big business. Perfectly happy to sit there raking in the remuneration and praise for everything that goes well (= bonuses all round). When things have gone badly wrong/illegal at the business THEY ARE IN CHARGE OF… well there’s just a whole load of “Oh I (conveniently) knew nothing about that”, “I didn’t have the right information” and “That was someone else’s job”.

One can only hope that she and everyone else responsible ends up in a similar situation to all of those people they so badly wronged and whose lives they ruined.

I commented to management that the Ranger seemed gutless when coming up the road. Struggling to get to 40k.
So whilst waiting for my gate monkey to open the gate yesterday, I had a bit of a look.
3 inch of topsoil scraped out from under the accelerator and we were back to 57k on the way home 😊🫣🤭😇
A good few years ago collected a customers car for service and mot, thought it was a bit slow and gutless, Rover 218 so wasn't particularly quick at the best of times, got home and found 9 floor mats on top of one another, limiting accelerator travel, customer was a bit of a clean freak and kept putting them in to keep the previous one clean :D
